To keep optimal and strong erection, many our normal body functions need to operate normally.

You won’t be having good quality sex forever with a smoking habit. As every smoke you have, it further diminishes your ability to have a great strong erection.

Smoking isn’t optimal for your health. Yet if you continue to do that, then it’s a poor choice. It’s an addiction. Addictions can be weened out, if you want to. Perhaps use nicotine batches, nicotine gums to get out of that addiction. Tools are there. You just gotta want it badly enough.

Lack of Vitamin D

Vitamin D plays an important role in testosterone production. Fail to get enough D from sun exposure or your diet, and your body’s T levels can plummet. Supplementing Vitamin D does not seem to increase testosterone levels. However, getting real sunlight is noted to increase testosterone levels in studies.

PMID: 34433056; PMCID: PMC8411113. noted that men who obtained 20 to 30 minutes of sun exposure twice a week while conducting usual outside activities (for example, walking) had significantly higher testosterone levels.

Please note, that you don’t need to burn yourself in the sun. 20-30 minutes of sunlight per day will grant the extra testosterone.

Excess alcohol usage

Although there’s nothing wrong with small amounts of alcohol, in fact many people experience heightened sexual drive and stronger erections when they enjoy a glass of red wine or take a shot of pure vodka.

It’s no surprise to know that alcohol does nothing good when consumed in excessive amounts. Alcohol is actually poison for your body when you consume it too much.

Poison cannot be good for your health and strong erections are always result of good overall health.

There’s a place for it to have a glass of wine or a shot of vodka right before sexual meeting with your partner to make your body more relaxed, there’s nothing wrong with it and it actually might help your sexual performance and erection strength.

The dose is the problem. In small quantities high quality alcohol drinks might even be beneficial – providing relaxant, lower stress, more confident state of being.

Physical activity and erection

If you don’t exercise or move your body, then your body won’t have its blood flowing healthily. This gives direct problem to your erection strength. If your blood doesn’t flow healthily then your erection is weak.

Exercise or physical activity will clearly reduce ED symptoms. Physical activity is the most highly linked lifestyle factor that correlates with erectile function. Nothing motivates you to move your body more when you know what it does to your health. You don’t even have to do anything else but walk. When you walk more you’ll get addicted to it because you’ll feel better. Also you’ll get more sunlight and vitamin D, further helping you.

Of course, in rare cases, also too much of exercise can cause erection problems. If your too strained from all the exercise then your body won’t give importance in you having strong erection. It has other priorities in moments like those. But in most cases, its complete opposite.

Hormonal Erection Disruptors?

Endocrine Disruptors both natural and synthetic, are chemicals that have the potential to imitate or interact with the body’s hormones.

While many of these are already banned by law in most of the countries, there are still some of the products that can contain them.

These substances is found in in many everyday products, including plastic, storage containers, cosmetics, detergents and even from your food.

For example, Bisphenol A can still be found from: thermal paper receipts, food packaging, toys, disposable plastics, LED lighting components and electronics.

Currently is not even possible to complete avoid endocrine disruptors, as they are in the air your breath. Indoor air pollution is a significant source of hormone contaminants.6Hwang HM, Park EK, Young TM, Hammock BD. Occurrence of endocrine-disrupting chemicals in indoor dust. You can avoid these boner killer by ensuring that everything you buy is free from BPA. Its good practice to avoid plastic products altogether as even BPA free plastic can contain chemical that have estrocenic activity.7Bittner GD, Denison MS, Yang CZ, Stoner MA, He G. Avoid taking plastics to the microwave and try to eat natural and fresh foods instead of processed products. Don’t use some weird shampoos, or deodorants. Avoid antimicrobial, hand sanitizer and scented lotions soaps.

It’s also extreme important to avoid touching receipts or vouchers (Thermal Receipt Paper), especially if you have used hand wash soap or hand sanitizers.

These hand sanitizer contain dermal penetration enhancing chemicals that can increase your intake of BPA from receipts up to 100x. Just couple seconds of holding thermal receipt can give you over 4 times of BPA than regular daily allowance accepted by governments. Holding thermal receipt paper and eating food after using hand sanitizer results in high serum bioactive and urine total levels of bisphenol A (BPA). While it’s already proved that consuming soy doesn’t not lower testosterone levels. Still, if you have erection problems it would be wise to avoid soy based products.

There is some evidence that shows soy-derived components in some foods may cause the overall product to be extremely estrogenic.10Omoruyi IM, Kabiersch G, Pohjanvirta R. Commercial processed food may have endocrine-disrupting potential: soy-based ingredients making the difference. In general, its good to avoid foods which manufacturing process you don’t understand (fast foods, and instant prepared foods packaged in plastic).

Try to replace plastic storing boxes to glass. Drink from for example mason jar rather than from a plastic bottle, especially at home. Store your cooked meals or meal preps into glass boxes.

This is a small step that might actually give benefits to you in the long run. When you stack all these small things, it’ll result to big results when you count everything.

But also, remember that you can’t really avoid endocrine disruptors completely nowadays, you can just reduce intake.

Some drugs might cause erection issues

Talk to your health care provider if you think that a drug is having a negative effect on your sexual performance. Never stop taking any medicine without first talking to your provider. Some medicines may lead to life-threatening reactions if you do not take care when stopping or changing them.

Antihistamines

These are commonly used in people who struggle with allergies. Antihistamines are described for many reasons, however, it’s good to keep in mind that some of them could cause ED problems. If you are using antihistamines for any reason, you should consult your doctor or at least make search that could it cause or lower your erection strength.

Dental problems and ED

Dental problems can result to weaker health, which in direct result will result into weaker erection. Also, direct evidence from the publications has shown a positive connection between chronic periodontitis and ED 12Singh VP, Nettemu SK, Nettem S, Hosadurga R, Nayak SU. Small steps will bring huge results if you combine it all. It doesn’t take much to use high quality tooth cleaners and toothpicks. These will benefit your health and also have your breath be fresher. Having stronger erection is all about having better health. Invest in getting better health, in all aspects where you can.

Consider investing into better dental care products. Such as electric toothbrush, tongue cleaner, and xylitol.

Porn can make your erection weak?

If men condition themselves to get erection with obscure porn. Then it’s no surprise that they won’t get great erection with a real woman. It’s all conditioning.

There’s tons of young men nowadays that’d ruined themselves with porn. And they actually can’t get an erection with a real woman. Or experience weak lackluster erections with real women, while only being able be super hard with their online porn.

This is a massive problem. If you recognize yourself from this, you need to start weening yourself out of porn. It’s completely possible to heal yourself in no time by stopping this habit.

Lack of sexual activity

Lack of sex or sexual activity can reduce your libido and testosterone levels in the long-term. As we learned in the semen retention article. Men’s testosterone levels start to decline after 7 days of abstinence.

Also other studies that have pointed out that sexual activities and social interactions can increase testosterone levels in men. For example in this study which examined men’s saliva testosterone level while they visit in a sex club.

Researchers saw way larger testosterone rise in men who actually had sex versus who only looked woman. However, testosterone levels increased also in those who only watched.

Men who had sex experienced around 76% increase in their testosterone levels compared to men who only watched women saw only 11% increase 14Escasa MJ, Casey JF, Gray PB. This study also shown that only talking to woman can increase man’s testosterone levels. In first part of the study young man gave saliva samples before and after they sit alone of with woman for 15 minutes. Men who sit down with young woman saw significantly boost in their testosterone levels.

In second part of the study men either talked with other men or young woman. Men who talked with woman saw greater increase in their testosterone levels than man who talked with other man.

The findings show that social contacts with potential partners might cause certain patterns of endocrine responses in adult men. 15Roney JR, Lukaszewski AW, Simmons ZL. If you haven’t had sex for long time you can expect that your erection is not perfectly strong. This is typical and will most likely improve with time. Unless you have some other issues like porn induced erectile dysfunction…

How I Made My Erection Stronger

While there are probably thousands of different strategies that increase erection strength, some of them are just nonsense with no actual science behind them. Next I will list all the strategies I have successfully tested and found to improve my erection strength.

What to do to get a stronger erection for example for a hot date tonight? Here’s strategies that I have successfully used to get stronger erections. While some of these can improve erection in just couple hours, in most cases you should see improvements within one week.

Is there foods that improve erections?

Pomegranates and pomegranate juice

Pomegranate and its juice is one the beneficial foods that men can consume. Pomegranate benefits for men are almost endless. Multiple studies have shown, that pomegranate can increase endurance capacity, make men more fertile, reduce cortisol, and may even increase testosterone level and sperm quality.

Pomegranate is great for your foundation of sexual health, which is your heart and blood circulation. While the proper human studies are still lacking behind, pomegranate juice may improve sperm quality and motility, according to a rat study.17Türk G, Sönmez M, Aydin M, Yüce A, Gür S, Yüksel M, Aksu EH, Aksoy H. Pomegranate may aid improve workout performance and recovery after exercise in healthy adults. According to the British Journal of Nutrition review, pomegranate has the potential to improve exercise performance and faster recovery from intense exercise.

For erection pomegranate seems to so effective that researcher have actually warned taking it with erection boosting drugs.

Animal studies have shown that pomegranate could even boost testosterone levels. For example, in this Saudi Arabian study published in the Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine. To improve your erection, get into habit of eating pomegranates. Also pomegranate juice + sparkling water is a combo that is extremely tasty.

If you’re soda addict, you should consider replacing soda drinking habit with a mix of pomegranate juice and sparkling water. It’s literally almost like drinking soda but even more tastier and even beneficial to you.

Look out for 100% pomegranate juice without any added sugar, as it’s super sweet naturally. Preferably in a glass bottle.

Also, most stores have high quality 100% pomegranate juice in their selection. Alternatively you can always just buy pomegranates if you aren’t able to find good juice. Real pomegranates are almost like popcorn in the way they are eaten. You can replace your home movie candy or popcorn with pomegranate seeds.

Watermelon

Watermelon is rich in amino-acid citrulline. When you eat watermelon, citrulline is converted into arginine which is a precursor for nitric-oxide.21Collins JK, Wu G, Perkins-Veazie P, Spears K, Claypool PL, Baker RA, Clevidence BA. PMID: 21195829. orally ingested L-citruline increased erection hardness in 50% of men compared to placebo where increase was seen only in 8.3% of men.

Brazil nuts

Brazil nuts are rich in pro-testosterone minerals selenium, zinc. Also, packing erection amino-acids such as arginine.

It’s good to remember that he took the lab test and found out that he had selenium defiency. For men who doesn’t have selenium defiency, brazil nuts might not improve testosterone levels or erection so much.

You should not eat Brazil nuts chronically constantly, as you might get too much selenium. Too much selenium can be detrimental to your health. 3-4 Brazil nuts a day should be your maximum. Yes, that low amount is the max.

For many products, NOW Foods has been a decent brand and I can recommend them for brazil nuts to get. Almost all of the brazil nuts that are sold grow wild in the Amazon rainforest, so you don’t have to worry are they from China.

Pumpkin seeds

Whenever I eat pumpkin seeds I experience more erection strength. Usually morning erections are also stronger. There must be something in pumpkin seeds. And they do indeed pack loads of zinc and many other beneficial nutrients and fats.

I prefer to eat high quality organic Styrian variant of pumpkin seeds that are grown in a small village in Austria. Low quality Chinese chemical laden and potentially moldy pumpkin seeds could just do more harm than good.

With nuts and seeds you really have to pay attention to the quality. Cheap and low quality is often moldy and won’t give you any benefits.

For now I can’t find the Styrian pumpkin seeds from Austria anywhere online at the moment, but you could try to find them on local small organic shops. Just pay attention that you do not buy pumpkin seeds from China, and you should be good.

It’s incredibly hard to find anything that is not from China. At the moment I can only link to these pumpkin seeds, grown in Mexico and manufactured in the US.

Along with magnesium, proper intake of zinc is also essential for optimal testosterone levels.

How widespread is zinc deficiency?

Studies have shown, that even marginally zinc-deficient men can increase their testosterone levels via zinc supplementation.38Prasad AS, Mantzoros CS, Beck FW, Hess JW, Brewer GJ. Recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for men over 19 years old is 11 mg of zinc. That’s easy to get with supplements or eating quality animal products. I personally use L-Opti-Zinc.

For Vitamin D products, I like Doctor’s Best Vitamin D3 5,000 IU. A decent and trustable brand and have bought it countless of times.

For magnesium I’ve used Now Foods magnesium citrate pure powder a lot. You can add this powder to drinks such as sparkling water, or even to yoghurt and so on.
